The year is 3050 and the Inner Sphere is under sieged by a technologically superior foe from beyond the Deep Periphery. The Clanners invade from the very edge of the galaxy and begin a blitzkrieg that has never been seen in human history as they take world after world from the Lyran Commonwealth, the Free Rasalhague Republic and the Draconis Combine.
Mercenaries flock to the conflict zones for money and glory but they meet destruction and ruin like the Great Houses when they fight the Clanners.
