A certain marine not even out of his twenties finds himself and his colleges around him as the first to enter Iraq as a part of Operation Restore Democracy, just as the marines before him had done only thirteen years ago as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Scarred by a cataclysmic meteor strike, humanity struggles to rebuild amidst the wreckage. As civilization begins to take its first tentative steps forward, a bizarre twist of fate unfolds. Animals, exposed to a mysterious chemical agent released by the impact, undergo a radical transformation, gaining humanoid traits while retaining their primal instincts. Communication proves to be a barrier in the early years of their appearance. Humans, fearing for their species, ignited a war for dominance. This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.

But he soon learns that his magic may be too weak, that only the most powerful and elite of the healers were able to keep up with the demanding work. He pushed himself through, thinking he might just be able to make it, even as his magic threatens to give out. But with a war on the horizon and an Arctic wolf that he is forced to complete an almost impossible mission with, he finds that the job may have included much more than he had signed up for. And with the even more pressing dangers of realms colliding, the fox fears that it just maybe will end them all.
