When twelve guests receive an unexpected invitation to stay at a hotel that has been whispered about all over New Orleans for the past few months, rumored to be the pearl of the century, their curiosity outweighs their caution.

Although the hotel exceeds their expectations, the staff seems invisible, and the owner, Ambrose Belmont, remains shrouded in a veil of secrecy.

Soon, however, they discover that their connection to him runs deeper than the mysterious invitation to stay at his hotel. A night that was supposed to be filled with laughter and jazz-fueled revelry turns unexpectedly into a fight for survival.
