Hopekit is born the daughter of Sandstorm in a clan no longer recognized as ThunderClan. Tigerstar is clan leader and there is great turmoil in the forest. Slowly, TigerClan's control reaches beyond the borders and no clan remains to withstand Tigerstar's law.
Hopepaw is named an apprentice and is given the opportunity to serve TigerClan by infiltrating RiverClan. As time passes, she uncovers secrets that were meant to be kept hidden. Hopepaw's heart is torn in two and she doesn't know where she belongs anymore. She becomes a warrior with high ambitions to protect those she loves, even if she must use alternate means to do it.
