rin has always been in control, well, on the field at least. off the pitch, he's a disaster when it comes to his growing feelings for isagi, his teammate and rival from the football training camp, blue lock. things go from bad to worse during a training camp when rin accidentally blurts out something that sounds suspiciously like a love confession. desperate to avoid humiliation, he clumsily covers it up, but isagi is quick to catch on. amused, isagi starts teasing rin relentlessly, leaving him flustered and convinced that his crush is a one-way ticket to misery.
