Hayashi Kiyōshi is awkward, cold-serious, mostly quiet, and works at a local convenience store with Ukai Keishin. He works full-time during summer break, especially when Ukai starts coaching the Karasuno Volleyball Club. When a certain blonde with white headphones and a condensing smirk starts getting close to him, something blossoms inside his chest.

That blonde saves Hayashi from this other stranger, and then suddenly everything around Hayashi seems to revolve around that tall tree of a person.

But what happens when Hayashi mistakenly mentions his past and now tall boy is curious and wants to know.
