Cassie Albright never knew how much she needed Carl Grimes until she met him. Since that first day at the quarry, they never left each other's side. 

After losing her mom on the farm, Cassie fall into a hole that only Carl is able to bring her out of. Months later when Carl is out in the same position as she was, Cassie is the only one able to pull him out of his hole. 

With her mother gone, the parental role over her is handed to her mother's best friend, Daryl Dixon. He loves that girl as if she were his own, and she loves him as if he were really her dad. 

With shit flying at them left and right, their friendship morphs into something stronger. But when the world is ending, luck isn't always on your side.
