Forced to grow up faster than her peers due to certain responsibilities,
Martha Jacobs is a young adult mom who has successfully made it through college and is searching for a Job that will be able to feed her and her 7 years old son Micah Jacobs while doing some other things like managerial work. Things always seem to go well for them both until the universe decides to play a dirty game on her.

Martha is a fun, loving, kind and easy going person and is completely down to earth kind of girl. Then kind of girl people call 'to good to be true'. She's not a people pleaser but likes to make sure people are comfortable around her. She's respectful, demure. In her "Being nice, respectful and gentle with people can move mountains".

Then there's Joshua Bassett who is the complete opposite of Martha Jacobs. He's rude and arrogant, mean bossy and had no respect whatsoever for anyone. The only effort of being nice he can make is to his family. In his world, "Power and Money can move mountains".
