Rachel comes to the Hades Cabin at Camp Half-Blood and issues a prophecy to Nico. Due to the content of this prophecy, Nico desperately tries to act like it is somehow wrong or that he can change it in some way.

"Dark pits of the underworld call,
A child of shadows must fall.
Find the one who calls out your name,
Who suffers and despairs for refusing to remain.
Daughter of sleep must defend,
Something of equal value will meet its end.
Bringer of light will join its course,
Lend a hand, and share your life force."

Written with emonemo on AO3- So if you prefer reading there, it's on their account under the same name.

This is technically a standalone story, but we are retconning all of Solangelo, and this work is: Work 24 in that series.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
