WARNING: EXCERPT ONLY! "And you smell delicious too." He whispered beside my ear. "Like honey and cinnamon were mixed to create a scent so irresistible. Do you know these two combined are great for the immune system?" He hummed against my neck, sending goosebumps all over my skin. "Fuck you." I managed to get out, glancing at him behind me. I felt his lips tilt up in a smile against my neck before he moved up to nibble at my earlobe. "That'll be nice." He chuckled in a deep sexy voice that rumbles from his chest to my body. "But some other time. Now..." His hot tongue comes out to lap at my neck in slow strokes. I bit down on my bottom lip to stop the moan that was about to break free. "I'm hungry." He darkly announced. She is determined to make it through life on her own, but then she runs into Sebastian, a vampire who develops a sudden interest in her and has a strange addiction to her blood. However, even though Jocelyn is not new to the supernatural world, it's not easy for her to accept she's supposed to spend eternity with a blood-sucking demon! What's more, humans are being murdered mysteriously, and Jocelyn starts to have visions of their deaths. Dive into a tale of mystery, romance, suspense, drama, and excitement. undergoing 1st round developmental edits!! When Edith, an overworked college student goes no contact with her parents, she must find a way to financially support herself while she gets her degree. She enters a writing competition in which the winner gets a book deal. When she struggles to write the violence in the slasher novel she decided to write, she turns to drastic measures for inspiration. After all, you should write what you know... a/n: hi guys!! this is an (incredibly) rough first draft of what originated as a project in my Creative Writing class. We were given the school year to write an original novella, and this is mine! I've grown really attached to the plot, but at my current writing skill, I don't think I could've properly gotten the point across in the time I was given. I'm publishing it here both to share it with my friends and to hopefully find proofreaders! I would really appreciate it if you could leave suggestions in the comments as they occur, or dm me for longer explanations! She was a human, clueless to the supernatural world. She worked helping troubled youth, and loved helping people. She had chronic illnesses, and was constantly at doctor's appointments. She loved reading cliche werewolf stories on her phone. He was an Alpha oblivious to her existence. He was 30, and had assigned his Beta's son to take over when he retired. He never found his mate, and him and his wolf accepted this, and took the role as both Alpha and Luna. Another Alpha was kidnapping humans and trying to turn them. He wanted more pack slaves/pets, and since turned humans were weaker, he could control them easier. He had is eyes set on her. "Ho-how is this possible? You can't be this!" He stuttered as he stared at her freshly turned wolf. She growled in response. "Doesn't matter, I'll break both of you." He smirked.Complete
