In the wake of Ambessa Madarda and Viktor's defeat, the cost weighs heavily on the shoulders of Piltover and Zaun alike, the staggering death toll, the immense destruction To the city, and the lingering sense of uncertainty looming over the now united twin cities haunt every soul. In the midst of it all, still trying to mourn the death of her sister, Vi finds an odd sense of comfort living in Caitlyn Kiramman's "big shiny house", even if Caitlyn's father has made his distrust of Vi known. The sense of tranquility is only a temporary distraction though, as much bigger storms are just over the horizon, and with Piltover still teetering from the damage caused by Ambessa's forces, the new Piltover council contemplates if the city can afford to raise it's defenses against outsiders and risk provoking yet another war. Caitlyn continues to bring in a new crop of junior enforcers, Zaun extends aid to Piltover in its time of need, Sevika adjusts to her new position as a member of the council while quietly mourning the loss of Jinx, and Mel Madarda learns to weild her newfound power, though it proves difficult without a mentor. Even in the wake of a new dawn, a chill in the air, that sense of uncertainty swirls over the near-broken city like smoke on the wind. One more catastrophe, and both Piltover and Zaun may fall like a Jenga tower.
