Mari & Issei Hyoudou, the two eldest children of the Hyoudou Clan were consistently overlooked by their Family & Clan due to not having proper magic reserves or possession of a Sacred Gear. The only person who cared for them in the clan was their grandfather, Juzo Hyoudou.

Once he passed away, things got worse for the duo as Mari was removed as Heiress of the Clan, and given to her younger brother Dai. He along with his twin sister Aika made their lives unbearable as they consistently framed Issei for incidents at school which weren't his fault.

Mari did his best to protect Issei but it was overwhelming her as well. Soon both Mari & Issei would discover that they have Longinus Class Sacred Gears in Telos Karma and Innovate Clear for Mari and the Boosted Gear for Issei.

One day as the Hyoudou Clan were getting ready to expel them, Mari & Issei fell into a portal and it took them to a different world. This world was Remnant and they landed in the Empire of Arcadia.

Now the duo finds their way and live a new life in the diverse and futuristic empire. How will they navigate their new lives in the Empire.
