The stranger, who calls himself Jack Frost, says that he's her betrothed and he's finally come to collect her. But how can she trust anything he says? He can't be anything more than a crazy stalker... That is until he whisks her away to another world in a tornado of snow and ice. Now, along with her grandmother, Nisha finds herself in a completely different world, one referred to as the Realm of Others, or the Other Realm for short. Here, she's the odd man out. This world is occupied by Others, beings that were brought into creation by the imaginations and beliefs of humanity. Which means, to her horror, the man who kidnapped her isn't a human. In fact, he isn't just a regular citizen of the Other Realm either. Jack Frost is actually the Heir of Winter, the one who will take after his father, Lord of Winter when the man retires. The Lord of the Winter is the Other who brings Winter to the Human World each year, as well as keeping places like Russia, Alaska, and Antarctica cold at all times. Forget everything you ever thought about the way the world works. Given little choice, Nisha must learn how to adjust to this new world, as well as praying she can find some way to return to her own world. Now the only question is, will she succeed? Especially when Jack is so attached to her, constantly reminding her that they are meant to be married. COMPLETED STORY The agony is like nothing I have ever felt before, I slide in and out of consciousness, I feel the strange sway of the two legged's walk as I am being carried through the woods, I wish to call out to my mate but I am weakened by the torments cast upon me. I have been laid down in the cold snow and my tormenter is digging in the frozen earth, I once again lose consciousness. The next time my eyes flutter open I have cold snow mixed with frozen dirt being thrown on my throbbing frame. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm freezing, hurt, and confused. I rouse to strange smells that are new to me, I'm colder than ever and something is definitely missing. I attempt to stand but immediately fall onto a fur covered ground, wait, fur... Where is my fur?!? Where did my tail go? Why do my paws look bare and have moving sticks coming out of them? Who stretched my legs out? What in tarnation happened to my fur? I guess that would explain why I'm cold. I begin to take in my surroundings, I am in a dead tree shelter but it looks completely different, there is a fire crackling near me but it does little to warm my bare skin, I'm startled by the sound of laughter, I look over and see a two legged is staring at me with a hint of humor in his eye. "You are very confused. I found you almost dead in a non descent grave. You were shot and bruised. I brought you here and made some... changes. It was the only way I could save you." Like a hairbrush will do anything, right? The boy didn't seem to be armed with any weapons, but he did carry a wooden staff that hooked at the end. You eyed him carefully. But the boy was taken aback. "You can see me?!" He asked, almost in disbelief. You raised an eyebrow, "..Yes?.. You're not exactly hiding very well if this is hide n' seek," you stated back at him. "She can see me.." he said to himself, almost in shock, and then his face broke into an endless smile, "She can see me!" The boy did a backflip, which you admitted was impressive because you can't even do a cartwheel, and he landed back on his bare feet. "Sorry to interrupt this.. reunion you're having with yourself but, am I not supposed to see you, or?..." You trail off, but he understood you perfectly, almost as if he's gotten this question before before. You still had your guard up. "Okay, so I'm not exactly.. Human.. or alive.. This is my first novel that I decided to write for people to see, I was told I was good at writing. Basically this novel is about elemental beings and mystical beings fighting against the demonic creatures of hell. The story is mainly action and adventure, has humour and a little bit of romance at few parts and corse language aka swearing and other insulting language. There is also gore and other types of violence in some chapters that are not sutible for children and can just gross people out.
