Elliot Reed is an average human, working a mundane 9 to 5 job near Roanoke. Then something strange happened; a portal between worlds opens, and Elliot, plus a tax attorney named Miles, is thrown into a new world, where the occupants are animals. And in this world, a group of elite dragon pilots, known as squadron Delta Romeo Alpha, patrols the skies of the Stormcrags Mountains. But the multiple kingdoms that occupy the lands are at the brink of war.
