A hero's sacrifice

My 16th year as a gatekeeper.

Taylor lived and breathed a creative life in her home world. We're magic and hero's were nothing but character's written in to pages or portrayed on tv. These stories shaped her and when a chance encounter just like in those stories happened to her. She jumped at the chance.

This is where her life as a keeper took a turn. After returning from a long term assignment, Taylor thought she would be getting a few days for her self. But with her luck that didn't happen. As her leader sent her off to another world she only ever read about. A place where the creator pulled no punches with devastation and heart break.

Taylor must assimilate into this world and guide it's time line down the right path. If she fails it could mean an king a dark history for that world. And a great chance that it's powers could travel to others.

Now on to her most important mission yet. Taylor must find a way to gain the trust and confidence of the people in this world. Or work from its shadows.

(This is the first book in the gate Keeper chronicles. I am a very go with the flow person which is why I'm starting here. I also have a current hyper fixation on my hero right now and my brain is not letting me work on much else. This story has been in my head for a long time so it is very detailed. With a side plot of romance. I hope you like it.)
