What if instead of wars to solve disagreements there was a way with less bloodshed?
The War Trials - One heir from each selected family of the two regions are chosen to fight to the death inside the war maze. A mindbending game that requires both mind and strength to win. Along with three heirs three peasants from each region are also chosen as tokens of sacrifice for those higher up. The team with the most members wins.
Evelyn is what you would consider a freak. At least thats what she is called because she's a total nerd. She is one who yearns to learn (Boring Ikr). But she is really brilliant in a lot of ways that can help her inside the maze. And oddly enough when she is chosen people automatically underestimate her and call her a peasant even though she is nobility. Can she use their opinion of her as a weapon? Or will she tragically die just as predicted?
