After the destruction of the wild rune, Jayce and Viktor wake up in the council chamber, astonished to find themselves alive. The real surprise, however, is Viktor-fully healed and with no sign of his former struggles. But their brief joy quickly crumbles when they meet with Piltover's leaders-and Viktor is arrested. For Jayce, it feels as though his world has fallen apart. Just when he thought he'd regained his closest friend, he's at risk of losing him again. Determined to prevent this, Jayce vows to do everything in his power to help Viktor win his trial. But as the trial unfolds, their bond will be tested again.
