Roman Vale. She isn't a Pogue, but she isn't a Kook. Her smartness (along with not being a full-time Pogue) got her offered an open spot at Kook Academy. Which is what put her on the frontlines of the battle between the infamous rivalry that takes place in Kildare County; therefore, she had Pogues hating her, and many, many Kooks along with them. After all, one thing teenagers on opposite sides could fully agree on, is that she didn't have a place in Outer Banks, whether it's Figure 8 or The Cut. She was a classified loner, until Hurricane Agatha; therefore, leaving her confused on whether to be thankful for the devastating storm, or hating it for what it might involve her in.
