The world keeps turning, with nations waging war for their own interests, wealthy men flaunting their riches and enjoying life. Then there's me, Diopha Hitari, someone utterly unremarkable who spends their time playing video games and keeping up with the latest manga chapters. In short, I live a mundane life, alongside my studies-or at least, that's how it should have been.

My monotonous and repetitive life changed in the year 3005 due to a major event that led to the death of more than half of humanity. This irrational occurrence, one no scientist or intellectual could have predicted, was named the "Dungeon Break."
