Both Sonnet Hartley and Salem Dalca recall the events of their final show of their first tour differently. Despite both being alongside the other on the same stage, their viewpoints vastly differ. However the audience had front row seats to the display before them and the heartbreak in every word sung that night was clear, unforgettable and haunting. Only one person in the whole building knew that come the end of their show, there would be no more duo. No more Sonnet and Salem, no more SOS. There would be the silence of betrayal and the remnants of a broken heart lingering on the stage. The audience would never receive answers as to why the concert ended so abruptly, so painfully. Or to why Sonnet Hartley parted the stage with tear stained cheeks and no second glance to her boyfriend. Salem Dalca would occupy the stage for moments after her departure, staring at the space she once stood with a look that could only be described as broken, and even that word couldn't quite sum up the devastation that was clear on his face. He didn't run after her and she never turned back. The overhead lights would turn on and the audience would leave, confused and reluctant as one half of the act they came to see still stood on the stage. But despite his body holding him upright and the steady movement of his chest that signified that he was in fact alive, it was clear to everyone leaving that night that his soul had left the moment she had. He waited for her to return. She didn't, and when he finally managed to drag himself from the stage, he desperately tried to call her. It didn't go through and neither didn't the thirteen frantic calls that followed. She had disappeared and he knew exactly why. He had just never expected her to actually do it.
