The Glass Child

This is the story of May (เมย์); a 9 year old little Thai girl who is just a little... different. Ever since May was a toddler, she's had SPD (Sensory processing disorder). May lives in an average middle class house in a smaller district in Bangkok with her mother, father, her older brother Mac (แมค์), who is 12, and her older sister Min (มิน), who is 15. As much as her family tries to be understanding of her, they sometimes don't fully understand her and accidentally scolds her. However, on top of all that, May has a dream. She dreams of becoming a singer, as music is the only kind of loud noise that doesn't overwhelm her. She is naturally talented, but since her family isn't exactly rich, she has to work even harder. She will come across things that will make her abilities as a music artist even stronger. How will May be able to fulfill her dreams? And will she finally feel fully herself one day?

Ps. I have SPD myself and a lot of this is inspired by me in real life, especially when I was younger, hence, the main character's name being a short form of my own name (Maynie)
