Bella doesn't like Forks, but there is something she likes even less: being an obstacle in her mother's life.
When her stepfather and mother have to travel, Bella decides to stay with her father in Forks, the city where she was born and from where her mother took her when she was still little. And after spending a few weeks there during alternate summers, Bella understood why her mother had fled: Forks doesn't change.
Despite not liking the city, the girl was willing to do whatever she could to stay there until she could return home, for her mother, but also for Charlie, her father, who seemed lonely in that place. What the girl didn't expect was that the small town would change her life completely.
In Forks, everything Bella knew as a fact becomes questionable and she finds herself forced to confront problems with her mental health, as well as feelings she had never allowed herself to feel before, being guided to the center of a story much bigger than herself, with vampires, hunters and a conflict she had only seen in books.
