Seeking Ace

There was this card game called old maid. It was a game where all cards were given to the participants, then there was this hidden card.

The players will then put down pairs of cards and stops when there's already none, then will proceed to choose one card from the players beside them, this repeats until all the cards in the players hand were gone and only one is left, that card was the pair of the hidden card, and whoever had it, lost.

But here, it was the opposite.

There were how many cards, the jokers aren't included, and there were how many players. All players are given one card on their own, and to increase their chance of survival, they need to eliminate and snatch away other people's card. The same they hold, or it could be not, as long as you find the same pair of the card, it was fine.

Every 24 hours, players need to put down one pair of cards for them to not get eliminated. This continues until that one player will held the same as the hidden one.

But, there was an easy way to survive, find that one hidden card.

Don't trust people, you can only trust yourself. Can you survive?
