Everyone deserves a second chance
Sirius did something that he would never ever ever do, but he did it anyway. He broke Remus and his own heart, and as his world is slowly crumbling around him, he has to pick it all back up again single handed. Epiphany
Lily's tired of the growing grudge that's taken over Hogwarts. She's tired of the Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry, of the Marauders and their stupid pranks, of the blood prejudice and even of her best friend, Severus. James is tired too. He's grown sick of this game of pretend, where everyone acts as if everything's fine when it's really not. His friend group is drifting apart, his grades are plummeting and now there are all these expectations! Something needs to change this year. In which Severus Snape has lost both his parents, and things take a turn in his life, he creates unlikely allies, friends, communities and lovers. ^_^^_^^_^ Severus laughed, what a ridiculous life he has! He lives with McGonagall, is friends or whatever he is with the Marauders, and is being haunted by a weird entity for Merlin knows what reason. "Go back to your dorm Black, lest Remus and Potter find out about your visit. Thank you for your concern, I'm fine." He said. Severus looked up to find Black staring at him weirdly, he cocked his head to the side and asked, "What is it? Is there something on my face?" Black shook his head, "You have a pretty laugh," he said. Severus felt heat rush up to his neck and ears as soon as he heard that sentence --pretty! The audacity! His laugh is not pretty at all! Ugh! When James wakes up, his head his pounding. He can't remember drinking anything, but supposes he must have because it feels like he's been hit square between the eyes with a bludger. He's never been one to get hungover, but he knows this is what it's supposed to feel like. Although, come to think of it, he doesn't remember celebrating their victory on the pitch, isn't completely sure they had one at all. The last thing he remembers is turning to look to the stands, revelling in the roars of his fellow Gryffindors, certain that they were going to beat Hufflepuff. Then, he turned and... was hit square between the eyes with a bludger. Now he's stuck in the hospital wing, and the bed next to his is occupied by none other than Regulus Black.Complete
