Book one of the Four Lucky Leaves series. Clover, a senior in high school, and currently single has not bit off more than she can chew. After losing her mother to breast cancer, her dad becomes an alcoholic. Her little sister, Olive, who is a sophomore is diagnosed with Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) shortly after the death of her mother, and needs a kidney transplant. Clover's kidneys are not a match for Olive's, and their father doesn't want to give up one of his kidneys, believing it is Olive's fault that their mother died, and doesn't even drive her to the hospital for treatment. With Olive's appointments taking up her free time, she loses most off her friends, except Brynna who had no family. But what she didn't know was that Brynna was spy for the USA government.
