As a young girl, Elsie Huron Valencia had always thought she was...average. Existing in Darlent Kingdom and put in the labs for ability testing when she didn't even possess one was something she had always thought was strange. However, at the age of 18, discovering her power of mind control wasn't expected. Fleeing and managing to run into a fellow odd-one-out, Wilbur Cade Dodd, and the rest of his group, Elsie started a new life...and one that she had never bargained for.

In this tale of Veilfell, characters are twisted and tossed, betrayals and manipulation are imminent, and Veilfell's kingdoms may not be able to withstand the drastic changes falling upon the country. Whatever happens happens, and Elsie will be right there, at the front lines, for all of it.
