Miyako Yokono was born with one sole purpose: protect. She was born with a tingle in her heart, telling her she was meant to protect something, or someone. Her ability wanted her to protect and so she protected. She wasn't a free spirit, she was a slave to her ability, just wanting to do what it told her.
