A Wish Upon Midnight (Coming Soon)

A modern take on the classic film Cinderella.

Choi Miyoung lost her mother at a young age, when her father remarried years later she was over the moon to have a mother once more. But when her dad starts taking more business trips, she is left in the care of her step mother and two step sisters. That's when she saw how truly awful they truly are. She became a maid in her own home. Always doing whatever they ask of her so she doesn't get sent to the attic for misbehavior.

Hwang Hyunjin was a lonely prince, but he was also surrounded by friends and family. He had everything, money, looks, popularity but he also felt like he had nothing. He had constant reminders from his friends when princesses and higher up's were free to court, but he didn't care about that. What he wanted was true love and he couldn't seem to find that in any princess or higher up.

Miyoung and Hyunjin meet when her step family gets invited to the prince's courtship ball, she couldn't go dammed to clean the house by midnight. But then her very own fairy godmother appears and makes her wishes come true. She attends the ball, dances with the prince, and everything felt right. Until it wasn't. The clock struck midnight and she left in a hurry, leaving behind a glass heel. She made it back before everthing disappeared and she quickly cleaned as fast as she could.

Hyunjin didn't think he'd find her again, until he started going door to door having females try on the heel to see if it would fit. He visited thousands of houses until he finally stumbled upon Miyoung's. Her two sisters tried to pass it off as them until Miyoung finally made an appearance covered in soot.

When the slipper fit, Hyunjin was over the moon to finally have found his one true love. And Miyoung was happy to finally have found someone who could save her from the hellhole she was living.
