Beyond the veil lies a realm where death lurks in the sky at all times. Anger, grief, suffering, and uncertainty follow you everywhere. As the cycle progresses, the armies of light and dark engage in a tug-of-war, with neither side prevailing. No force has emerged victorious in a millennium.

Numerous lives have been taken and sacrificed, and the ravaged earth has borne witness to it. Even now, the people of the Otherworld struggle to understand why they are here, attempting to live day by day while discovering a new dawn with each Twilight.

Thus begins the tale of a man who was given the gift of death, tasked with shifting the scales for good.
