Despite his stubbornness to continue his lonely, the collective voices of Class A reached him, and he finally decided to go back. Izuku Midoriya promised his class that he would stand with them in the final confrontation against All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. Everyone is happy to hear that. Everybody but one ponytailed ravenette who notices signs in the ninth One For All wielder that has her questioning his word.
This came to me while I was re-watching season 6 of the anime. Cover art is not mine. The characters used and MHA belong to Kohei Horikoshi and Studio Bones.

Falling (Depressed Deku Fanfic) (COMPLETE)
Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! This story will contain depression, suicide talk, torture (not explained explicitly), violence, and a whole lot of angst! Also, this story won't contain any ships. So, there isn't any BakuDeku, TodoDeku, etc., it's just a depressing story with Midoriya with his friends trying to change themselves to help him and their own selves in the future. And in the near future, when Class 1-A turns to 2-A they get ingulfed by a blinding light and be sent to a theater like stadium where they will watch different storylines that are made by there Classes Strongest, yet a Cinnamon Roll classmate. Shigaraki doesn't get it. That's fine. I watch the way his fingers twitch, the way his grin falters, the way confusion slowly replaces his arrogance. He thought he was the mastermind. He thought getting All Might was the pinnacle of this war. But he doesn't see it yet. Not the bigger picture. Not my game. Kurogiri is silent. He knows better. He always does. After months of dealing with off-putting behaviour, the strain of an abusive relationship and the heavy neglect of a once looked up to mentor, the final straw is pulled when Izuku's quirk is taken away. He leaves to America, to reconcile with old faces and start anew. 10 months later, when Class 1-A makes a trip to California for the summer, they think of it as nothing more than a great time to relax and wind down from their hero training.
