This is like a historical fiction diary entry summary, I'd say. I made this short story for an image prompt writing competition at school a while ago. This isn't my best work, since there was a 500 word limit (I had an idea already so I had to write it weirdly, this is like a diary enty, I guess), and I suck at time limits.

I may add on to this story every now and again or remaster it, but I really don't know.

Set around Redfern station in Sydney, Australia, our character grows up, loving humble home. Time: 1885 - 1938
