Tessa Marie Wilson was never supposed to follow her brothers into the battlefield-but she did it anyway, trading ballet slippers and broken hearts for blades and blood. Born into a family of soldiers, she's the youngest, the only daughter, and now...the only Navy SEAL with something to prove. In a world where war demands silence and steel, Tessa fights for identity, legacy, and something far more dangerous-freedom. But between ghost missions, buried trauma, and the commanding officer whose eyes see more than they should, she learns that sometimes the bravest thing isn't charging the frontlines- It's staying soft where life wants you hard. A story of blood, bonds, bullets-and the bloom that refuses to die, even in the darkest war.

I scooted a little closer to him and tilted my head a little, curious to know what his response would be. "Um well we could uh talk about our lives you know, school and family and friends and other stuff like that." "And do you really want to do that?" I asked him running a finger down his white t-shirt after closing the small distance between us. "Do you really want to just sit and talk about family," I leaned over to whisper in his ear, "and friends," I lightly nipped his earlobe while continuously running my finger down his shirt until I reached the waistline of his black jeans, "and school," I was just about to trace my finger over his zipper when he gripped my hand and looked me in the eye just as I finished saying, "and other stuff like that." I looked up from our hands to his green eyes, taking in the blueish specks of his irises, with a hint of hazel mixed, surrounding his pupil. We stared at each other for a minute, me admiring how close his proximity is and how the tingly sensation of his hand on mine felt good. "No I don't." Dominic groaned out, looking down at my lips and then back up at me. "No you don't what?" I leaned in a little, suddenly feeling drawn in to his green eyes and awaiting lips. ------ Ryler didn't expect to fall for him so soon. It only took her 2 days for her to realize how much she truly cares for him. Only 2 days for her to also realize it was a mistake. Only 2 days for her to feel heartbroken.
