When two worlds collide, the most dangerous thing is falling in love.
Lena's ordinary life takes a dark turn when she saves a stranger from an attack, unwittingly entangling herself in the violent world of Nikolai- a powerful and feared mafia leader. What begins as a reluctant connection fuelled by danger and necessity soon becomes something deeper as Lena is drawn to the man behind the power: intense, protective, and unyieldingly devoted to her.
Nikolai knows he should stay away from Lena-she doesn't belong in his world, a place defined by control and chaos. But no matter how hard he tries to keep his distance, her strength and quiet defiance pull him closer. When a dangerous rival targets Lena to get to him, Nikolai is forced to confront his feelings, vowing to protect her at any cost-even if it means putting his empire on the line.

Just a note-
I had a lot of fun writing this one (one of my first completed stories) but I don't think it is for everyone.
It is a slow burn mafia romance. Bad boy good girl and hate to love type thing. There is some violence, please skip if you don't like violence :)
