Deathbringer, an assassin turned bodyguard turned weapon. Glory, the queen of the RainWings, who must find a way to make Deathbringer remember who she is and how things were. And finally, Fierceteeth, a NightWing who wants more than anything to take the throne away from Glory.

An Assassin's True Purpose
Deathbringer was hatched to be an assassin. Brutal and cunning, striking precisely and using stealth to his advantage. His mother, Quickstrike, never acted like a real mother but a mentor for Deathbringer. She taught him one thing, how to be real assassin for Queen Battlewinner. At the age of four, Deathbringer finally gets to have his first mission that was outside of the island the NightWings reside, his first mission to serve his queen. How exciting! Or so his thought. When the mission didn't go as planned, it left Deathbringer into shock, only to realize his true purpose. With help from Deathbringer's old friend, he strived to change the world. (All right to Wings of Fire belong to Tui T. Sutherland) Spoilers to Wings of Fire arc 1 and Winglets 2 and 3, of course.
