The story of Caleb, a new student at Northwood High, who is bullied by Jason. Caleb learns karate at Ironwood Dojo, taught by Takeshi. He gains confidence and defeats Jason in a fight, but the victory is short-lived as they are sent to the principal's office. Caleb's bravery earns him new friends, including Sarah, Jason's ex-girlfriend. Jason, fueled by jealousy, confronts Caleb and Sarah, leading to another fight. Caleb and his friends, Kai and Omar, train at Ironwood Dojo to prepare for a tournament and future confrontations. Jason, seeking revenge, is approached by Marcus, who offers him a plan to defeat Caleb and his friends.
