A short story this Christmas 2024.
On a cold, windy morning on the first of December, Markus Chaplin, the town's young and famous pianist, went missing. He was last seen near a gift shop rumored to be kidnapping children and removing their hearts to keep itself running.
Determined to uncover the truth, Guinevere Lurke, Amsden Hutchins, and Wardley Moore embark on a daring journey to unravel the mysteries surrounding the eerie shop. However, once they step inside, they are magically shrunk to a tiny size, making everything around them appear gigantic.
Will the trio solve the mystery and return in time to celebrate Christmas Day, or will the shop's dark secrets trap them forever?

Celeste Gray thought it would be nice to stay in a cabin in the woods. Being able to be alone, left with her thoughts, finding nature, and the nice cozy feeling of warmth were what she needed. Which led her to book/rent out a cabin for the whole month of December. Spending the holidays alone shouldn't be too bad. I mean, there's a reason she's alone in the first place; this is what she needed to move on with her life. So everything should be fine. Celeste was wrong about that because the moment she decided to take that trail in the woods, she knew she fucked up. Especially when she saw Santa Clause, not dropping off gifts, not with his reindeer or his sleigh, but standing over a dead body. She just saw Santa kill someone. Ji-Cheol Kim is not your average man, he does something for a living that is not for everyone, but someone has to do it, especially when it's getting justice in a way for people who deserve justice done that way. He was doing his job, which he is very good at when someone who wasn't supposed to be there ended up being there. Now his plans have changed, which led him to do something he doesn't mind doing, finally being able to spend the holidays with someone. Even if the person doesn't want that, she has no choice but to accept it. Neither of them was expecting this to happen. Two people from different worlds who ended up bumping into each other are now spending the holidays together. This was far from being a Christmas miracle. Usually, people Carol's age are getting married, buying their first house, getting their first pet, etc. Her younger sister's doing all that. Good for her right? And she's doing it with Carol's ex. It has been a year since they broke up and he has been with her sister ever since and well, I'm sure you can guess the tea for that one. But it's Christmas time so 'tis the season to be jolly. She'll be seeing her two favorite people at the family reunion. Where she has promised everyone that she has happily moved on, and has someone to introduce to the family... except- she doesn't. During a trip to the grocery store, she bumps into one of the finest men she saw, which wasn't through her phone screen. So, obviously her first reaction was to ask him to be her plus one for the family reunion and to pretend that they're a couple. He Agrees! On the condition that she'll help him become Santa Claus? Weird but she agrees to do exactly that. Nick keeps claiming that he's Santa Claus's Son and that there's this whole Christmas wonderland where people compete to be Santa...she just goes with it.
