"YES, I MADE A FUCKING MISTAKE" I wrote being furious as more tears streamed down my face while typing those messages in his DM. I continued "AND I DO REGRET FOR THAT EVERYDAY WITH MY VERY BEING, STILL YOU DID THAT WITH YOUR OWN CHOICE. YOU FUCKING CHEATED ON ME!" The truth hung in air as he begged me to listen to him once. But I was beyond the state to hear anything or understand him at this point of time where I'm questioning my own existence. His pleadings went deaf to my ear.
Aashvik's Pov:
"I LOVE YOU TANUSHREE" I said for the first time while looking in her blue orbs. My heart thumping badly against my ribcage that I'm scared it will come out any moment. Her innocent eyes looked at me, she tried to respond but couldn't comprehend what to say. His movements were slow, deliberate-like a predator taking its time before pouncing. She flinched as he stepped toward her, her pulse hammering in her ears. She pressed herself against the headboard, gripping the duvet as if it could shield her from him. "P-Please... stay away," she stammered, her voice trembling. Her mind is struggling with the thoughts how can she save herself from a monster like him. Her innocenct heart is screaming with terror. He will do very bad with her!! He will do that- She can't say that terrible thing. He arched a brow, his head tilting slightly. "Now you're afraid of me?" His voice was cold, emotionless, but there was something unreadable in his eyes. Warning ⚠️ Mature, torture, dark scenes, traumatic past. The phone is ringing. But Tanvi was too scared to answer the call. She was not ready to talk to him or even hear his voice. She wanted to run away from the present, but she couldn't evade her present. She hadn't talked to him for the past week, and he had called her a number of times. That day itself, he called 5 times. So, finally, with trembling hands, she answered the phone to tell him the truth. "Hello," he said as soon as Tanvi answered the call. Tanvi voice was shaking she didn't know what to say. But she mustered her courage somehow and said, " Please don't contact me again. I know I have played with your feelings without knowing who you actually are. I know I have committed a terrible mistake, or I guess, a sin by doing this, but now I want to end this for once and for all. I don't think you can understand me and forgive me, but the only explanation I say to you is that I am really sorry." He remained silent all this while and did not utter a word. He came to realize that nothing more was left for him to talk. He disconnected the call as soon as she finished her monologue. Tanvi, a +1 student, decided to attract her crush indirectly gets his phone number and starts talking to him anonymously. Initially, she got rejected, but later, earns his trust and friendship. Slowly their friendship reached another level through their sweet phone calls. Then, the real truth came out. He was not the crush whom Tanvi imagines him to be. So what would Tanvi do? Would she ever meet the person with whom she developed such a relationship? Would that person ever want to meet Tanvi after knowing that she played with his feelings, knowingly or unknowingly? The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on." I probably should've just listened to him from the start when he said don't go outside in this weather, but me being pissy with him and wanting to prove a point- I did and now I'm laying on the wet grass with a gash on my temple and an even bigger one on my leg. "We'll get you to Harvey." Shane said. I could hear his voice break at the end. He picked me up and started walking. "Please wake up." I wanted to so badly but I was exhausted from the hike and spending the night in the cold and shivering for hours. Shane's warm hands under my back and legs already felt way better.
