This small town romance is the story that you should read while wrapped in a comforter with a warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter night. When stubborn 10-year-olds, Eliza and Luke, both claim the same towering oak as their personal treehouse kingdom, a rivalry sparks that only escalates with every passing day. What starts as a chaotic battle of pinecones, makeshift weapons, and fierce arguments gives rise to a friendship with banter and competition. No matter how much they fight they always know that the other one is there for them. This story navigates a years old friends between two neighbours who through the years saw each other's most embarrassing moments as well as achievements. The last year of high school brings challenges and rifts which they have to navigate without losing sight of their friendship and maybe something that they can't quite pinpoint yet
