Galenia Crytz has always felt at home on the ice, her graceful performances earning her a reputation as one of Canada's brightest young figure skaters. But when she transfers to MSU to chase new opportunities, she doesn't expect to share her sanctuary with the university's rough-and-tumble hockey team-or to clash with their infamously cocky and grumpy captain, Grayson Cole.

After a heated argument over rink schedules, Galenia and her team are forced to share practice time with the hockey boys. Tensions run high, but the spark of animosity between Galenia and Grayson soon evolves into something neither of them expected-chemistry.

As the pair grow closer, their budding relationship draws criticism from all sides. Galenia's coach warns her to keep her focus, fearing Grayson will become a distraction, while Grayson's teammates accuse him of losing his edge. Meanwhile, Galenia's determination to excel in her upcoming national competition is put to the ultimate test when she finds out her mother has cancer.
