Everyone has one, an invisible red string around their pinky that glows when their soulmate is near. Well, everyone except Viktor, who's been using every lab at his disposal to find out why. It's not like he needs someone, he's fine on his own, he always has been- That is until Heimerdinger brings an academy student(who's currently on probation) to aid him in his research.
And then he sees it dangling between their hands.
