What do you do when your heart pulls you in two different directions?

Hi, my name is Olivia Meyer, and I'm a seventeen-year-old girl who has a little confession: falling for Freddie Hutchinson, the school's infamous 'bad boy,' was never part of the plan.

I've always been perfectly fine with my low-key life. Books over parties? Check. Silence over drama? Double-check. Honestly, I'm just trying to survive high school with my best friend, Tom McKenzie, by my side since he's the only person who's ever really seen me.

But then I got paired with Freddie for a class project. Freddie Hutchinson, with his leather jacket, sharp smirk, and reputation darker than my coffee order. We've never spoken a word to each other before now, but suddenly, I'm seeing sides of him no one else seems to notice. Like the kind-hearted boy hiding beneath the tough exterior.

And now my carefully crafted world is starting to crack. Alicia James, the queen bee of high school politics isn't happy about the Status Quo changing, and Tom... well, let's just say he's acting weird. Like, jealous kind of weird.

The worst part? I think I might actually like Freddie. Like, love him. You read it right, love him. But if I choose him, I could lose everything else I care about.

So, what do I do? Follow my heart, or stick to the plan? Either way, I have a feeling my senior year is about to get way more complicated than ever.
