Silver naturally became the head of the pack after her father's death, but the pack was not content with it. She was known to be irresponsible, careless, laidback, and completely opposite to her father.
One night, she sat under the moonlit sky, under her favorite tree, where her father trained her. Her hands were resting on her bent knees, eyes staring at the distance, dazed, heart heavy with the loss of her father, gears in her head turning about how to make the pack accept her. Suddenly, there was a change; she felt like she was enveloped by warmth and peace, the weight on her chest lightening. She looked around, desperately searching for an answer, what, why, how; it was a feeling she had never felt in her life, always weighed down by something. She was puzzled; she did not know what she was looking for. 'Let me help,' she heard her wolf. Silver allowed her wolf to come forth, heighten her senses, and search for what caused the change...or who...her wolf focused on a silhouette walking on the other side of the lake. Her wolf forced more control on her, walking towards the silhouette, jogging, running, making sure she did not lose sight of her. As she got closer, she saw a small figure, loose hair flowing with the wind, hands behind her back, walking away from her. Snow, her wolf, could smell her, a sweet smell, like a freshly bloomed flower, 'mate' she kept repeating in her head, her eyes narrowing down on the figure, pupils blowing up.
Follow Silver and Sky through their journey of finding love, love in each other, and love within themselves as they confront the challenges the universe throws at them.
