Divinity Claire has been born with a curse that every girl strives for, beauty. Now, as an adult Divy has three of her best friends pursuing her. Each holds a bond of friendship with her that she cannot ignore and refuses to break. So, she tells everyone a little white lie. A white lie that sends her packing to Chicago to look for a man who will fill in for a temporary fiancé. However, when a brokenhearted- and not to mention actually broke- childhood friend comes knocking on Divy's door, a chain of events start that will cause Divy's life to spiral out of control. Divy has to help her friend get back together, keep the truth about her fiancé a secret, and try to divert the attention of her male friends away from her. But, Divy's jealous streak threatens to tear her fragile plans apart. Will her lies undo her? Will she come to grip that love is hard to destroy. In the end, she has to make a choice- a choice that can either keep her a captive to her old ways or set her free with a new love within her heart. Growing up in Wisconsin, Kasha was a lively girl, with her best friend, Jason, never too far away. That is, until they turn fourteen. Through ten years of friendship, they had decided they liked each other and were dating. However, that year, Kasha relocated to Seattle, breaking two hearts in the process. Three years down the road, Kasha has fully moved on. She's got a new boyfriend, Nate, she's on the track team and finally a senior. Life can't get any better, though it can get worse when she finds out Jason moved to Seattle and goes to her school. He's dead set on getting his childhood sweetheart back in his arms, while Nate's determined to keep things the way that are, which means keeping Kasha exactly where she is. Kasha is just confused. She knows she's in love with Nate. But she can't help but feel an attraction towards Jason. After all, they did used to date. Maybe it's a thing about exes. Or maybe it's because Jason looks really different from that small town boy. You can only be truly in love with one guy. So who is it?
