When Aou Thanaboom, a well-known actor and public figure in Thailand, was forced to further his study in the United Kingdom, he met Prof. Theo, a young academician who held a contrasting way of living compared to him. Maybe if he behaved better, his mother wouldn't send him all the way to another continent while cleaning up his mess.

Reputations and achievements are facades up by Prof. Theo or known as Boom among close friends and family. He, who was engaged to Prof. Marc, pressured to keep up to his family academic legacy. Alas, being engaged to his former academic rival was never in his plan.

'Marriage is love. But this marriage is duty.' is the daily affirmation of Prof. Marc in order to keep his engagement to Prof. Theo stable. Living in the shadow of his parents who were known academicians of Harvard made him lose his self-identity.

What was once a duty as a research assistant, bud into obsession for Poon. He has always seen Prof. Marc as his love rival to assert Prof. Theo's attention. However, deep down inside, he had always knew Prof. Theo could never be his. The gap between his and Prof. Theo's reputation couldn't be closed no matter how hard he tried.
