A boy wakes up surrounded by destroyed buildings. He felt a headache, only remembering his name and a strange world. Strangely he doesnt remember anything about his past life or this life. He only remembers a world where people are ordinary and many advanced technologies. The only thing thats world lacks is magic. After wandering around he found a cave and a dying dragon. Driven by curiosity, he walks to the dragon and asks why such a magnificent and powerful being is there. The dragon answers that he has been recuperating after being attacked by Acnologia, but after centuries, he finally decided that it was time to say farewell to this world. He thought by hibernating he could get his magic back but unfortunately the magic is getting weaker and old age making him more weaker. As the lightning dragon king, he wished that he could see his old comrade again. He told the boy the stories where the other dragon kings had chosen a successor but only five were able to get away. He asked the boy if he was willing to be his successor , the lightning dragon king Raiken.
