"But do you think I could be brave enough like my mother to leave my one great love?" she asked in wonder.

I was taken aback by her question. Of all things, why was she talking about that one great love? I studied her with a frown. She had a faraway look on her face. "So you're really going to leave me, huh?" I joked.

She grimaced at me until realization struck her. "Who told you that you're my one great love?" she screeched.

I shrugged with a mischievous grin. "Gut feeling."

She scoffed in disbelief. "You're... unbelievable."

I just rolled my eyes at her.

"Fine," she groaned after some time. "Let's go on a date later."
