I hid it away, locked it so that you could never see it again and I took out another fresh piece of paper, desperate to not let you have it again.
What once was our shared tale now became mine, and only mine, and in the new pages, I said I would give them a different story.

Why didn't you come back? Where were you when I needed you the most? Why couldn't you remember me, what happened to you? You left me, you broke your promise. How can I ever trust you again? Why should I speak if no one will listen? Even though you were my twin you were my everything. No one wanted come anywhere near me, whether because of you and your reputation or because of the things that HE did. You blew caution to the wind, I warned you that day it was a bad idea. Mother told us to be careful. But you, you never seem to stay out of trouble, and me I always came along for the ride. Trouble followed me too, but not by choice, but what HE did. You used to take the hit for me, made sure I never got hurt. But once you were gone no one could protect me, and our little sister had left me too that spring. The day he ran away was the day I lost myself. I couldn't concentrate on my studies. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I was... a mess. I lost all sense of life, all sense of feeling. I became numb. and then, one day... everything went black, and I found myself in a field of flowers, all alone. Some say I died of a broken heart. Others say I died because I wasn't taking care of myself. Either way, I was dead. I thought I'd be gone forever, and then, one day, I wake up. I don't know why or how, but I do.
