Peril has spent her entire life not being loved.
Carnelian has spent her entire life not loving.

But in a drastic turn of events, Peril and Carnelian are forced to work together and Jade Mountain Academy to keep Peril safe from death.

And suddenly, both their lives flip.

Carnelian discovers there's more under Peril's fiery surface. The girl with a tough outside, struggling to find friends. A dragon who needs her. A dragon who'd be good battle material, sure, but maybe friend material, too? More than associates? More than friends? Carnelian finds her entire universe warped with soppy, unbattlelike feelings she can't deny.

Peril can't pretend she's not here for Clay. She's loved him forever, and this could be her one big shot at making sure they're together, forever. Except... maybe she likes Carnelian, too? And then Peril's falling for her, the only dragon who understands her, the only dragon who promises to keep her safe, stuck between her fluttery, probably-mutual feelings for Clay and her new, shiny, probably-not-mutual crush on Carnelian.

Because birds of a feather fly together.

Don't miss this bold, fiery, numbingly queer fanfiction.

Ice at Midnight: A Winterwatcher Fanfic by Cataclysm138
29 parts Complete
*COMPLETE* What would've happened if the Jade Winglet never got wrapped up with Darkstalker? If Sora had never tried to kill Icicle? If Winter had never gone looking for Hailstorm with his friends? What if they never got involved in the perils and dangers they faced in the WoF series, and instead the worst things they have to worry about are assignments, drama, and bullies? At least for most of them... Winter is an IceWing as harsh and narcissistic as they come, desperately trying to live up to his parents' expectations. Moonwatcher is a shy, scroll-loving NightWing who hates unfamiliar places. When these two dragons' worlds collide at Jade Mountain Academy, their initial hatred for one another soon blossoms into something more, something neither of them has ever experienced before. At first, things go well for both of them at the academy. However, they quickly learn that the world here can still be as unforgiving as it is outside of school. And when students start going missing, it becomes clear that there's something sinister going on... Together, along with five other friends, can they survive mountains of schoolwork, bullies, and drama that neither of them wanted to get involved in to begin with? Find out by reading Ice at Midnight: A Winterwatcher Fanfic! *Note: I DID NOT MAKE THIS COVER. Carni_Crimson did, huge shout-out for her art skills! 'The largest egg in mountain high, will give to you the wings of sky.' We all know how the SkyWing egg was lost right? Well, in this world, what if the SkyWing egg didn't shatter? What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters from the best book series in the world, they are the characters of the great and magnificent Tui T. Sutherland. The only characters I own are my OCs. P.S I give full credit to my awesome fanfiction writer friend for coming up with this fanfiction and credit to Book-dragon-Wof who helped with ideas.
