It's about a 14-year-old alien girl named Rebel (she's on the cover) whose planet was destroyed and her friends and family being killed or captured by the Irken armada. She is intelligent but short-tempered. She loves drawing and exploring. She and her aunt came to Earth after no other planet would let them stay due to the fact that Lakians are basically walking weapons. She and her aunt partially disguise themselves with a crystal that hides most of their Lakian features but she still has to wear a toboggan to hide her antennas and ears. She wishes for nothing more but to try to live a normal human life and get her family back.
I based her personality off of myself.
About Lakians/Lakia: She came from planet Lakia, a blue and purple planet home to the Lakians. Lakians range in colors from bright light blue to teal and purple. Adults average to about 6 to 8 feet tall weighing 100 to 300 pounds with a slender body.
