prathiksha, the ray of hope.
aradhya was called thus by her family.
was she really the ray of hope? she doubted it. she had everything a girl would wish for at the time.
a loving caring family, a lovely dog, and her beloved shrimata, and hari as her guide.
she had everything untill that wrecking insident, that made her family go begging at houses, to the extreamest of poverty. then, they decended, the jagatmata and the jagatpita. kaliyuga was nearing its end, and they chose aradhya and her family as their instruments to establish a little bit of dharma before the age crashed into complete darkness.

enough!!!.
vishnu's eyes snapped open, as he thundered.
lakshmi who was peacefully yet not so peacefully pacing arround in her gardens of vaikuntha, herd something shatter, falling on the floor.
and herd his roar, cending a chill down her spine.
the sight of a shivering garuda and sesha confirmed her suspisions. her narayana was furious. he had gone into a deep slumber, unable to bear his creation suffering sooo much. he had told he'd wake when it was time for him to incarnate as kalki. she knew it wasn't the time yet, then why did he awake?

"ma, please, let me fead him a laddu,". prathiksha or aradhya whined.
"look, aru. its not good to whine like a child when you're already 22. stay calm, i'll fead him first and then you can".
they stared at the idal of lakshminarayana as anjana, aru's ma fead the lord and the mother with a lots of devotion. suddenly, the earth shook, thunderclouds gathered in the sky. the calm whether had grown terrifying. fluffy, their little dog, barked as he ran hiding behind aradhya.
the trees shook as they fell down, one by one.
akshey, aru's father, was so conserned. "whats happening here". he shouted as the next thing they only remember was a blinding light.

Hola Everyone
My fresh attempt at a new short story on DEVAKSHI. The concept of this is inspired from a movie which I had seen long back but fits really well for the lovely couple. You can picture your favourite couple here. It's a story of friendship & love interweaved with humour & misunderstandings.
It's going to be a short story of around 10-15 parts.
The lovely cover for this story has been made by @Thegirlin_blue .
Hope you like it.
Thanks
